Kumaon Commissioner reviews old case status at DDA

The commissioner of Kumaon Division and chairman of the District Development Authority, Deepak Rawat reviewed the status of various cases filed with DDA while inspecting the office’s  functioning, pending cases and development work on Tuesday. He directed the officials  to prioritise disposal of applications and old cases to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to the people. 

While reviewing the building map approval process, he directed the e – map system to be expedited.  Taking note of DDA’s financial position and revenue collection,  he directed timely completion  of fiscal year targets. 

Progress reports on various civil works undertaken by it were also presented.  Thereafter, Rawat inspected the DDA office building now under construction at a cost of Rs 17.71 crore in the Collectorate complex.  He then inspected the road widening work on NH – 87 from DD Chowk  to Trishul Chowk. 

Among those present with Rawat during the inspection were the  district magistrate, Nitin Singh Bhadauria; vice-president, DDA, Jai Kishan and  superintending engineer, PWD, Anil Pangti.
