Kurmanchal Nagar Sahkari Bank holds 42nd AGM

The business of the Kurmanchal Nagar Sahkari Bank has reached Rs 3,886 crore. This and other details regarding the bank’s functioning in the previous financial year were shared in the 42nd annual general meeting of the bank held here on Friday. The bank’s chairman Vinay Sah said that despite stiff competition, the bank had succeeded in increasing its business. Its credit-deposit ratio was 55.79 per cent while its net profit was Rs 23.01 crore. The bank opened four new branches in the previous financial year increasing the total number of its branches to 45. Sah said that the bank is providing modern facilities including internet banking, QR code and Paytm POS to its customers. It is also making consistent efforts to provide better digital banking services. Interest is being paid every month on saving accounts, he said. The bank’s secretary and chief executive officer Akshay Kumar Sah also informed about various other aspects of the bank’s functioning.
