MAD youngsters conduct 4th cleanup drive at Tapkeshwar

Youths engaged in the Chalo Tapkeshwar campaign cleared 30 sackloads of garbage from Tapkeshwar on Sunday. Organised by Making a Difference by Being the Difference (MAD), an association of local youngsters, the event witnessed the participation of about 30 volunteers including seven members from Team Mai Hu Sevadar. The cleaning initiative focused on the Tamsa river situated within the precincts of Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple. MAD has undertaken the cleaning along the Tamsa river for the past three Sundays while also communicating its suggestions to both the cantonment board and the temple administration.

Clearing damaged statues, plastic waste and various debris, MAD emphasised the need for sustained efforts at a larger scale for river rejuvenation. It was collectively resolved to intensify endeavours aimed at environmental conservation. Volunteers included Aryan Koli, Ambika, Daksh, Aryan Arora, Khushi, Mehak, Arpit Garg, Khushboo, Rohit and others.
