Make investment grounding ceremony in Rudrapur a success: CM to officers

At a high-level meeting at the chief minister’s residence here on Thursday, chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to complete the preparations for the successful conduct of the proposed Rs 1 lakh crore grounding ceremony in Rudrapur in time. He stressed on the programme being organised in an impressive way to ensure industrial progress of the State. He further said that the Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah would be the chief guest. “This event will give a new direction to the industrial future of the State and will provide ample employment opportunities to the youth here. During the Global Investors Summit held in 2023, the State government received investment proposals worth Rs 3.5 lakh crore. Out of these, Rs 1 lakh crore has been grounded. This shows the confidence of investors towards the industrial development of Uttarakhand,” he added.
Many senior officers, including R K Sudhanshu, R Meenakshi Sundaram, Shailesh Bagauli, Vinay Shankar Pandey and Banshidhar, attended the meeting.
