Woman appears silent, starts speaking after extreme step

A man in Haridwar committed suicide while on a video call with his fiancé late on Sunday night. The incident occurred in the Tibbadi area of Ranipur. The police identified the man as Tibbadi resident Naveen. He was reportedly employed in a company in the SIIDCUL industrial estate in Haridwar.
According to information from official sources, the man was engaged to a woman about three years ago. However, the man and the woman were experiencing some differences during the past few days. It is being claimed that during the suicide on video call, the fiancé didn’t seem to attempt to stop from taking the extreme step though she was seen speaking after he hung himself using what appears to be a skipping rope.
The video which has gone viral on social media has no sound. The local police reached the home of the man on receiving information about the suicide and took possession of the body. The police said that the family members are being questioned and the matter is being investigated.
