Eight students of Mother’s Glory Public School who were among 72 players from Uttarakhand participated in the 13th National Pencak Silat Championship held in Koppal, Karnataka and won several medals, including gold medals. Lauding the achievement by the students, the principal of the school, Meena Panthri expressed the hope that they would scale greater heights in sports in the coming days.
Notably, Advaita, Avantika Rawat, and Kanishk Dangwal of the school clinched gold medals in the championship.
