Prominent citizens, political parties and journalists have condemned the attack on senior journalist Hem Bhatt. The journalist was allegedly attacked by three persons on Friday evening.
In a complaint to the police, Bhatt said that he was overtaken by three young men near MKP college and attacked. He was admitted to Government Doon Medical College ( GDMC) hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
Former chief minister and Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat said that attack on journalist Bhatt is deplorable. He said that the police should take immediate action to nab The culprits.
The president of Uttaranchal Press Club Ajay Rana has severely condemned the attack. He said that police should arrest the accused without any delay.
