MCH selects agency to dispose of 443 metric tonnes of legacy waste

The Municipal Corporation of Haridwar (MCH) will soon commence the work to dispose of about 443 metric tonnes  of legacy waste accumulated in Haridwar’s Chandighat and Jwalapur areas. Officials informed that the corporation had floated a tender to invite interested agencies to carry out disposal work of legacy waste in these two locations.

The corporation has selected Environmental Techno to dispose of legacy waste as per the rules. The officials said that the selected agency will use scientific methods to dispose of the waste efficiently within a year as per the agreement with the corporation. The agency has started making arrangements from Friday to dispose of the waste, they added.
