In order to minimise the risk of Covid-19 spread in the city, the Municipal Corporation of Roorkee (MCR) sanitised all the wards during the lockdown on Sunday.
To facilitate the thorough sanitisation process, the corporation divided the whole city into four zones with 10 wards in each zone. The deputy municipal commissioner of the corporation, Chandrakant Bhatt monitored the sanitisation drive in the city in which all the public places were sanitised on Sunday.
The municipal commissioner, Nupur Verma also appealed to the public to stay indoors and follow Covid-19 guidelines issued by the State government.
