The chief media coordinator of Uttarakhand Congress Rajiv Mehrishi has also staked his claim for the party ticket for the position of Mayor of Dehradun Municipal Corporation (DMC). The senior leader submitted his application form to the president of Mahanagar Congress Jaswinder Singh Gogi at Rajiv Bhawan on Wednesday.
Interacting with the media persons, Mehrishi said that he wants to make Dehradun city modern and one with better facilities. He said that he will work for traffic management, waste disposal, and extension of public utilities, parks, parking, drinking water, sanitation and health. Mehrishi expressed confidence that he will register victory in the election if given a party ticket for the post of Mayor of DMC.
