A Mercedes car caught fire in Bhimtal area of Uttarakhand’s Nainital district. It was completely burnt down. A tourist from Delhi was in the car. It is learnt that the car belonged to his friend. The locals informed police that a car was found burning near a tent house in Bhimtal. As there was no fire service vehicle in Bhimtal one was brought from Nainital. It took time for the fire service personnel to arrive at the spot and the car was completely burnt down meanwhile. The tourist from Delhi Deepak said that he parked the car near the tent house. He said he was puzzled as to how the car caught fire.
