The Health, Higher Education and Cooperative minister Dhan Singh Rawat had a narrow escape on Tuesday when the vehicle he was travelling in met with an accident near Thallisain in Pauri district. While the minister is said to be safe, some of his staff members sustained minor injuries.
According to sources, the minister’s vehicle skidded due to frost on the road and overturned on its way to Dehradun. The sources informed that two other vehicles of the convoy also collided in the accident too. Rawat sustained no major injuries and was reported to have continued his travel to Dehradun from another car.
