The monsoon session of Uttarakhand Assembly will be held in Dehradun from September 6 to 12. The chief secretary SS Sandhu said that the State cabinet approved the proposal of holding a session in Dehradun. The budget session of Uttarakhand Assembly was held in Gairsain in the month of March this year. As per the rules the time interval between two sessions cannot be more than six months. The Pushkar Singh Dhami government is likely to place many bills in the monsoon session. The bill on Uniform Civil Code (UCC) can be brought in the upcoming session of assembly. The government will also table the supplementary budget in the monsoon session.
