Under attack from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party after its Gadarpur MLA Arvind Pandey publicly stated on Monday that his letter circulating in the social media targeting top leadership in Uttarakhand is fake, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal has said that his questions on the issue are still not answered.
Godiyal told The Pioneer that the letter written on the letter pad of Pandey had his signature and seal. The PCC president said that he had demanded that the government should check the authenticity of the letter.
He said that the letter was emailed to him and many others in Uttarakhand. Godiyal said that the letter went viral on social media. The letter purportedly written by Pandey had generated a storm in the politics of the State. In the letter- which Pandey claims is fake- the BJP MLA had complained that he is being continuously harassed at the behest of a leader who is at the apex of State BJP government.
