The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) employee Pramod Nautiyal who was suspended due to allegations of misappropriation of donations made to Badrinath Dham has approached the Uttarakhand High Court challenging his suspension and lodging of an FIR. The single bench of justice Alok Mehra has asked the BKTC to clear the situation and fixed the near hearing on July 16. The temple committee had received information on July 2 about alleged irregularities in handling of the donations. An internal probe was ordered by BKTC. The preliminary inquiry report had stated that Nautiyal had allegedly misappropriated some of the donations after which he was suspended by the committee. A BKTC official also lodged a police complaint against the accused employee, based on which the police registered a case.
