A group of 30 students from Bhuvaneshwari Vidya Mandir, Kanchanpur, Nepal made an educational visit to Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology (UCB) in Haldi, Pantnagar. During this, the students were informed about biotechnology entrepreneurship development along with biotechnology education and research.
The director of the council, Sanjay Kumar informed the students about the new research and applications being done in biotechnology with focus on crop production through hydroponic and soilless farming. Several scientists of the council also addressed the students from the neighbouring country about the research work going on in the council’s laboratory.
