Taking note of the people’s steadily increasing faith around Kainchi Dham hallowed by the revered saint Neeb Karori Baba, the Indian Postal department has started preparations to include the dham in its prasadam scheme.
Under this scheme, the prasad (laddu) of the dham will be sent to the homes of devotees across the country who fail to be physically present at the shrine due to reasons like distance and health. As per the Postal department, it would use its speed post and parcel service to dispatch the prasad.
They have requested the State Tourism department to provide them with a room where the department’s employees and the management members of the shrine would pack the prasad as per hygiene and safety standards before sending them through the postal network.
Under the scheme, not just prasad but other items related to the Baba like blankets and lockets will also be sent to the devotees.
