The election for constituting the new nine-member executive committee (EC) of the Boat House Club Nainital was completed on Saturday. A senior functionary of the club said that the post -holders would now be selected from among the newly elected members by consensus. Out of 3785 voters, 1,643 members participated in the EC election with 1,299 having voted through e-voting and 344 having voted physically.
Mukund Prasad received the highest number of votes (1,221) followed by 1,218 votes received by JS Sarna and 1,215 by D K Sharma. Naseem A Khan got 1,161 votes; Choudhary Dheer Singh, 1151 votes; Sumit Jethi, 1,150 votes; Shailendra Singh Chouhan, 1,145 votes; Soeb Ahmed, 1,097 votes and Akhil Kumar Sah, 935 votes.
