Vishan Singh (86 yrs) came all the way from Gwalior to Dehradun to take consultation from senior Cardiologist Dr Salil Garg. The cardiologist is the Head of Department (HoD) of Cardiology in Mahant Indiresh hospital in Dehradun. In 2018, Dr Garg had performed 86 years old Vishan Singh’s angioplasty while being posted at Army Hospital (R&R), New Delhi. Singh was so impressed by the treatment and counselling done by Dr Garg that he came all the way from Gwalior to seek consultation.
Dr Garg is a Professor of Cardiology and also an assessor and examiner for the National Board of Examination. He is one of the top Cardiologists of India who holds a rich experience of carrying out more than 10000 Angiographies, 5000 Angioplasties, 1000 Pacemaker Implantations and 200 Intra-cardiac Defibrillator Implantations. He has also done more than 200 Balloon Mitral Valvotomy (BMV) procedures.
