Many café owners in Dehradun have introduced a range of offers and discounts for the two-day New Year celebration this year. However, several café and restaurant owners stated that advance bookings for parties are lower this year due to religious factors observed by sone on Tuesday. Apart from this, the businesses are offering attractive offers and discounts for customers.
Café owner Sanjeev Rai stated that he consistently launches various discounts and offers each year to draw in customers and provide exceptional service for the New Year festivities. This year too, he has introduced multiple promotions for December 31 and January 1, including a 20 per cent discount on specific items.He further added that some establishments offer complimentary beverages.
A restaurateur near Patelnagar Mahesh Arora said that people enjoy dining out to celebrate the New Year. To attract customers and enhance the celebratory experience, they have launched different types of discounts on food bills. He further stated that, due to these promotions, he has noticed an increase in advance reservations for New Year celebrations.t
Various other café and restaurant owners are also providing similar discounts and offers to customers. Local resident Heena Bisht said that prior to the New Year, she and her friends utilise social media to find appealing discounts available at specific cafés. Based on this approach, they select one each year for their New Year celebration. This year, they continued with the same practice, she indicated.
