Officials directed to prepare & work on 75-day work plans

As part of the Amrit Mahotsav being held to mark 75 years of the nation’s independence on August 15, 2022, officials in Uttarakhand have been directed to prepare a 75 day work plan for execution of public welfare schemes in the state.

Stating this, chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that the responsibility of officials concerned will be fixed for making the schemes simple, accessible and transparent. Efforts will be made to ensure that the public enjoys the maximum benefit of these schemes. At the government level, the additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries and additional secretaries will prepare 75 day work plan and ensure execution of the schemes. All heads of departments will ensure that the same is done by their subordinate officers. The heads of departments will be answerable for successful implementation of the public welfare schemes related to their respective departments. Similarly, the divisional commissioners will ensure that the same is done by the district magistrates under their respective purviews.

For strengthening the law and order in the state and for the security of the general public, the director general of police will ensure that his subordinate officers work on the same lines. The DGP will be answerable for ensuring effective implementation of the work plan. Further, all the officials concerned will submit their work plan within 75 hours in the CM secretariat.
