The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) has recently started the registration process for the online application form for candidates wishing to apply for the Uttarakhand Teachers Eligibility Test (UTET) I and II. The online process will continue tillAugust 5.
The UVSP secretary Vinod Simlati informed that teachers in government schools in the State must pass the UTET test for appointment under both the primary and upper primary categories. The UTET comprises two separate tests- UTET I for the appointment of teachers in the primary section and UTET II for the upper primary section, he said.
He further informed that the online application for the UTET I and II began on July 10 and candidates can register until August 5. After this date, no further registrations will be accepted. Additionally, the last date for submitting the examination fee will be August 7. Simlati also said that candidates wishing to make corrections to their application form can do so from August 9 to August 12.
The UTET I and UTET II exams are scheduled to be held on September 27. The UTET I will take place from 10 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by UTET II from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to register and apply online by the specified dates, he said.
He added that for any queries, candidates can check and download the UTET I and UTET II information brochure from the UVSP’s official website. Before applying, candidates should ensure they meet all prescribed eligibility criteria. Eligibility includes having a bachelor’s degree plus a diploma in elementary education for UTET I and a BEd degree for UTET II, he said.
