The 7th P C Batta Memorial Inter-School Tennis Tournament commenced at Kasiga School here on Saturday. This tourney is organised every year in the memory of the father of the school’s chairman Ramesh Batta. Addressing the gathering, Batta reflected on the journey of the tournament which has grown to feature 16 participating teams from leading schools. On the first day of the tournament, Under-16 category matches were played.
