The final-year UG students Shagun and Chitransh Devliyal from the College of Agriculture affiliated to Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology shone at the NAAS Zonal Elocution Contest for Zone 5 held at Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology Kumarganj, Ayodhya. According to the university sources, they displayed exceptional oratory skills and effectively handled the question and answer sessions. Despite the competition being intense, Shagun secured second place and consequently, GBPUAT would now be represented at the national- level NAAS Elocution Contest.
Congratulating the participants, the vice- chancellor, Manmohan Singh Chauhan said that such competitions helped foster students’ skills, talents and overall personality development. He also appreciated the guidance, encouragement and motivation extended by faculty members which played a crucial role in the students’ success. The dean, College of Agriculture, S K Kashyap and dean Student Welfare, A S Jeena also congratulated Shagun and Chitransh’s performance.
