The Bharatiya Shiksha Board will help bring about a revolution in the nation’s education system, replacing the colonial system persisting in many places, Yoga guru Swami Ramdev said, while adding that Patanjali will bring about a revolution in three sectors. Addressing the media here on Thursday, he said that the Bharatiya Shiksha Board has been recognised by 15 State governments and its syllabus for upt to class V will be introduced by March and the syllabus for the remaining classes will be introduced in this year.
Ramdev said this while announcing the foundation laying ceremony of Patanjali Gurukulam on January 6 in Haridwar. He said that the occasion also marks the 200th anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the 29th foundation day of Patanjali Yogpeeth and the anniversary of Swami Darshanand. Apart from Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav, Rajasthan chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and MP Sudhanshu Trivedi will also attend the function in which the Defence minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest.
Ramdev said,”In the past three decades, Patanjali has facilitated revolutions in Yoga, Ayurveda and the Swadeshi movement. We are now focusing on bringing about revolutions in education, medical health and Sanatan Dharma. We believe Sanatan Dharma is not just the nation’s Dharma but Yug Dharma. Along with this, Ayurveda and naturopathy will ensure holistic health of the public. This is the basis on which Patanjali is now the second largest FMCG enterprise in the nation, valued at about Rs 45,000 crore,” he said.
