While addressing a programme held in Pantanjali Yogpeeth commemorating the 32nd renunciation day of Baba Ramdev, the Yoga Guru said that his organisation had contributed immensely in myriad of fields like education, research, health, agriculture, income generation and environment conservation among others. “We have spread the reach of yoga, Ayurveda and Swadeshi in over 35 lakh villages spread across 600 districts across the country. Besides, we have taken yoga and Ayurveda to a large number of countries across the world over the past 32 years,” he said.
He specially mentioned education and asserted that they are imparting holistic education based on the fulcrum of India’s spiritual knowledge to countless children of the country.
Addressing the commemorative programme, Acharya Balkrishna said that Swami Ramdev embodied the essence of India’s spiritual traditions.
The executive chairman of Bharatiya Shiksha Board, N P Singh also addressed the occasion.
