The chairman of the State Health Authority (SHA), AS Hyanki has said the authority has cleared most of the pending claims of the hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and State Government Health Scheme (SGHS).

In the meeting, he stressed on following necessary procedures in examination of the claims and resolving technical problems and ensuring an effective system of disposal of claims.
It is pertinent to mention here that due to paucity of funds, the hospitals empanelled in the SHA were facing problems of delay in settlement of the claims. On the orders of the Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat, the State administration had provided a loan of Rs 75 crore to the SHA for settling pending claims.
Hyanki claimed regular monitoring and follow-up has resulted in a situation where the claims will be settled within 15 days of receipt. He said that all pending claims of the hospitals have been cleared with the help of budget provided by the government. Hyanki added that all the claims of reimbursement made by the employees and pensions till June 6, 2025 have been made.
He said that as per the guidelines of the government of India, the hospitals have right to file review applications on the rejected claims but due to delay in commencement of online review system in the TMS portal of government of India, the SHA has given the facility to file review application in its portal to the hospitals.
The SHA chairman appealed to the hospitals to ensure speedy and good health services to the beneficiaries.
