The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was feeling blessed to be present at the Maha Kumbh after taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. He was found holding ‘rudraksh’ beads in his hand and chanting mantras while he was dipping in the confluence of three holy rivers. Later, he posted on X: “The Snan at the Sangam is a moment of divine connection, and like the crores of others who have taken part in it, I was also filled with a spirit of devotion.”
Earlier, Modi had taken a boat ride from Arail ghat to the Triveni Sangam, accompanied by the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
