Dehradun zone of Punjab National Bank organised a mega agriculture expo in Selaqui on Friday. The executive director of Punjab National Bank, D Surendran inaugurated the event and among those who attended were the zonal manager Anupam and circle head Abhinandan Singh.
Various self-help groups (SHGs) displayed their products at this agricultural expo, showcasing local agricultural products, handicrafts and self-employment-related products, which were well-received by both customers and visitors, said the bank officials. Besides, agricultural loan approval letters were distributed during the programme to encourage farmers and self-help groups.
Surendran interacted with customers and SHG members, informing them about the bank’s latest schemes and products.
