DSO to organise district-level selection trials for State-level badminton competition

The District Sports Office (DSO) will organise district-level selection trials for the State-level badminton competition for girls in the under-14, under-17 and under-19 categories on August 25 at the New Multipurpose Hall, Parade Ground.

Officials informed that as part of National Sports Day celebration, the Sports Directorate of Uttarakhand, along with the Pauri district administration is organising the State-level badminton competition for these age groups from August 27 to 29 at Ransi stadium in Pauri. Teams from Dehradun are also expected to participate in this competition. 

To select participants for the competition, district-level selection trials will be held on August 25 at 11AM at Parade Ground in Dehradun. It is mandatory for participants in the selection trials to bring a passport-sized photo, an Aadhaar card and a permanent resident certificate, the officials said.
