A five-month pregnant woman was killed after she was allegedly pushed down the roof during a heated argument among tenants in Vanbhoolpura area of Haldwani. The police have arrested five accused to inquire about the incident so far. The police informed that the deceased Manju (21) and her husband Kuldeep lived as tenants in the second floor of a house in Vanbhoolpura area where another family lived as tenants in the first floor. Both families allegedly used to have arguments on a daily basis with each other. Late on Tuesday night, both families were having an argument too, as per the police. They said that as per the victim’s husband Kuldeep, he called his wife’s mother and brother at his room for support when the matter escalated and during the heated argument, one of the neighbours pushed his five-month pregnant wife down the roof. The police said that the mother and brother of the deceased took her to the hospital but the doctor declared her to be brought dead. The police informed that they have arrested five accused so far that were present there during the incident to investigate them. The police said that they are inquiring about all the people present during the incident and will soon nab the person/s involved in killing the pregnant woman.
