A truck laden with government rations skidded off New Tehri-Delhi Yamunotri National Highway 507 and crashed into Yamuna river near the Mussoorie bridge. It was on its way to Jakhol from Vikasnagar when the accident occurred at around 1:50 AM. One person went missing, while another was brought to Nainbag for treatment.
Police at Nainbag outpost informed that the truck, loaded with food grains, had two occupants. “While one was brought to Nainbag for treatment, the search operation is underway for the other,” a police officer informed.
