Renowned architect BV Doshi to be presented with UK’s highest honour

Famous Indian architect Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi has been awarded the Royal Gold Medal from the Queen of England. It will be presented to Doshi in a special ceremony in the year 2022. The medal is considered to be world’s highest honour and is awarded annually by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). This has added another feather in Doshi’s hat. The Royal Gold Medal has been awarded since 1848 to those who have made significant contribution in the field of architecture. Doshi’s key projects include Atira Guest House, Ahmedabad School of Architecture, Aranya Low Cost Housing and more.
