With the four-day Tehri Lake Festival commencing on March 6, the Tehri district administration has issued a special route chart for the movement of tourists and locals for these four days. Under the prescribed route chart, a detailed list has been issued which include various routes, central points of availability of vehicles, number of buses and names and mobile numbers of related contact personnel and nodal officers.
The district magistrate, Nitika Khandelwal appealed to the people of the district to participate in the festival in large numbers. She also urged those who hail from the district but now live outside to come too. “Adequate bus arrangements have been made for the convenience of the people and a special route chart will be in effect for the festival days,” she added.
Notably, as part of the festival, cultural, adventure, and recreational activities will be hosted at various locations across the district.
