Holi gift: Police return 76 lost mobiles to owners

On the occasion of Holi, Almora Police presented a unique “gift of trust” to those who had lost their mobiles by recovering and returning 76 mobile phones worth over Rs 11 lakh. Under the directive of the SSP, Chandrashekhar Ghodke, the Cyber Cell and Surveillance Team carried out operation spanning multiple states, including Delhi, Bihar, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. “Through technical surveillance and continuous follow-up efforts, the Cyber Cell tracked and retrieved the devices,” a police officer added.  The SSP handed the devices to their owners in Almora.  Those who got back the lost devices appreciated the Cyber Cell team.
