The latest placement session at Sardar Bhagwan Singh (SBS) University saw students across various disciplines including BPharm, MPharm, MSc in Microbiology, MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, MSc in Biochemistry, BSc in Biotechnology and BBA securing positions in some of the largest corporations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
The eight major recruiters who hired the university students included Copmed Pharmaceuticals, Macleods Pharmaceuticals Limited, Intas Pharmaceuticals Apprenticeship Program, Global Healthcare Academy, Enzene Biosciences, Sceptre Medical (India) Limited, Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Limited and Lucent Biotech.
The university boasts a placement track record of over 90 per cent and a highest package exceeding Rs 15 lakh per annum. Approved by AICTE, PCI, and IAP, the university features a faculty panel of over 70 experts, including more than 60 PhD holders, while a student-to-faculty ratio of 15:1 ensures personalised mentorship to make every student industry-ready, and the institution’s commitment to core research is backed by over 1,000 research publications and more than 50 patents.
