The Senior Citizen Welfare Society (SCWS) will organise a programme here on August 21 to mark national senior citizen’s day. This and other decisions were taken in a general meeting of the SCWS. The society’s head Dr Atul Joshi presided over the meeting in which various issues related to senior citizens were discussed. Aspects like medical care for senior citizens were also discussed in the meeting. SP Kochar, brigadier (retd) KG Behl, Dr PD Juyal, AS Negi, KK Oberoi and others expressed their views in the meeting.
