The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) recovered the dead body of a 12-year-old boy Kishore Sahil from a river in Chinyalisaur, Uttarkashi on Friday evening. The officials informed that the police called the SDRF team to the spot when they received the news of a young Nepali boy who had drowned in a river.
The team led by SDRF constable Mukesh Chauhan reached the location of the incident and started the rescue operation. After an intensive search for the body at the possible locations in the river, the divers of the SDRF finally found the body. The team handed over the body to the local police to carry out the necessary procedures before handing it over to the deceased’s family. The authorities are investigating the matter.
