Second phase of SIR in Uttarakhand to commence from Monday

The second phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Uttarakhand will commence from Monday with door to door distribution of the enumeration forms by the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). 

Uttarakhand chief electoral officer (CEO) BVRC Purushottam said that enumeration forms have been delivered to all the 11,733 BLOs of the State. He appealed to all the voters of the State to cooperate with the BLOs. The BLOs will distribute enumeration forms and collect them from the voters till July 7. They will also digitise the enumeration forms of the voters through the BLO App. Purushottam stated that if voters are not available at home during the day then they can book a call with their BLO with the “Book a Call with BLO” feature. Voters can book their call by visiting the website https://voters.eci.gov.in or downloading the ECI-Net mobile App. The BLO will visit the home three times if any voter is not available in his or her house. The voters can contact the BLO and fill out the enumeration form as per their convenience. The CEO also appealed to the voters to provide latest passport-sized photographs along with the enumeration form to the BLOs. He clarified that no documents will be required from voters along with the enumeration form during the door-to-door visits between June 8 and July 7. He stated that the draft roll will be published on July 14. The deadline for filing claims and objections is between July 14 and August 13. The final voter list will be published on September 15, 2026.
