Selja, Kanhaiya Kumar to pay tributes to Ambedkar in Doon

The in -charge of Uttarakhand Congress, Kumari Selja and national in -charge of the National Students Union of India (NSUI) Kanhaiya Kumar will attend a programme organised to mark the 135th anniversary of BR Ambedkar in Dehradun on Sunday.
The secretary (communication) of All India Congress Committee, Vaibhav Walia said that the programme will be organised at Ambedkar Bhawan, GMS Road. He said that the life of Ambedkar is a symbol of struggle, dedication and an inspiration for equal rights. Walia said that a strong, classless and democratic India can be made only by treading on the path shown by him.
He said that the programme is being organised to spread the message of ‘ Jai Bheem, Jai Hind’ and the constitutional values, equality and social justice to the masses.
The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Ganesh Godiyal, leader of opposition in Vidhan Sabha Yashpal Arya, former chief minister Harish Rawat, the chairman of the election campaign committee Pritam Singh, chairman of election management committee Harak Singh Rawat and other senior leaders will attend the programme.
