Seminar on police pensioners’ welfare held in Uttarkashi

The superintendent of police, Uttarkashi, Kamlesh Upadhyay organised a special seminar on Tuesday to promote the welfare of police pensioners and to provide social direction to their experiences. In this meeting with the retired police officers and employees who had served for a long time, the SP listened in detail to their personal, family and departmental problems.

During the seminar, pensioners shared their suggestions, experiences and challenges they face at the field level. The SP assured that all issues raised by pensioners would be resolved on a priority basis. She directed that any pensioner with a personal or family problem should share it personally or through the WhatsApp group created for police pensioners so that the department can provide a prompt resolution.

The SP encouraged all pensioners present at the meeting to actively contribute to awareness campaigns against drug trafficking and drug abuse prevalent in society.

The deputy superintendent of police, Uttarkashi, Janak Singh Panwar along with other officers and employees of the police department were present in the seminar.
