UJPAH  & UCOST  host event on Ayurveda

The Universities’ Journal of Phytochemistry and Ayurvedic Heights (UJPAH) hosted a collaborative event with the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) here on Saturday. The programme started with the chief editor, UJPAH, S Farooq providing an introduction of the event. Then the associate editor, UJPAH, Himmat Singh gave the introduction of the journal and discussed its objectives, its structure and efforts for its improvement. 

The vice-chancellor, Uttarakhand Ayurved University (UAU), Arun Kumar Tripathi emphasised the growing global need for Ayurvedic interventions and the development of effective herbal medicines. 

Addressing the programme, the director general, UCOST, Durgesh Pant spoke of the importance of evidence-based Ayurvedic practices and encouraged the creation of research linkages and associations.

Students of Swami Rama Himalayan University, Quantum University and Uttarakhand Institute of Technology as well as researchers, scientific officers, and officials from UCOST participated.
