The anti-human trafficking unit and Haridwar police in a joint operation busted a sex racket going on in a hotel located at Mahadevpuram Phase-2 in SIIDCUL area of Haridwar district. The manager of the hotel was among seven people arrested. Three escaped arrest and are still at large.
Aside from the manager of the hotel, three women and three customers were arrested, said the Haridwar SP (City) Pankaj Gairola, adding that the arrested had been charged under appropriate laws. He further said that they were conducting manhunt to apprehend the three absconders.
