SGRR Medical College holds State-level Radiology and Imaging Conference

The State-level Radiology and Imaging Conference 2025 (Uttarakhand Chapter), organised by Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, concluded. A number of radiologists, medical experts, academicians, resident doctors and young researchers from across the country participated and got enriched through this platform for knowledge exchange and research-oriented discussions, the organisers said. The main theme of the conference was Cardiac Imaging under which modern techniques, recent research, imaging protocols and future possibilities were discussed in detail. Around 150 participants took part in the event.
While inaugurating the conference, the principal, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dr Ashok Nayak said that radiology has become an essential pillar of modern medical science. “In super-specialty treatments such as cardiac, neuro and oncology care, the role of radiology experts is crucial for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning,” he said, adding that the conference would prove to be a valuable learning opportunity for radiology students and researchers.
Addressing the conference, Dr Bimlesh Joshi said that this two-day event would provide an excellent platform to understand modern radiological methods, research and technologies.
During the various technical sessions of the programme, renowned national faculty members shared their expertise on advanced cardiac imaging systems, clinical decision-making and recent research. In the panel discussion on Future Imaging and Advanced Technologies, detailed insights were shared on diagnostics, 3D imaging, ultrasound and cardiac CT-MRI techniques. Besides, the young radiologists presented posters and papers on innovation, research and scientific interest.
