A few days after India’s ace shooter Manu Bhaker was bestowed with the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award, a major tragedy struck her family as her maternal grandmother and uncle were killed in a road accident in Mahendragarh bypass road in Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana. The two were travelling on a two wheeler when a vehicle speeding from the opposite direction collided with it. Both died on the spot, police said, adding that it appeared to be a hit and run case. They further said that the driver of the vehicle had fled.
