Shri Ram Centennial, St Joseph’s top ranked schools in U’khand

The Shri Ram Centennial school of Dehradun has been placed at the 19th position in the country in the list of top co-ed day cum boarding schools released by the Education World India schools rankings ( EWISR) 2021-22. In the ranking of day cum boarding schools, the Asian School and Scholars home are placed at 24th and 33rd position in the country and second and third respectively in Uttarakhand.

With 1,185 points Saint Joseph’s School of Dehradun is at 77th position in the country and first in Uttarakhand in the list of Co-ed day schools while DPS Dehradun is at 90th rank in the country and is at second position in the state.

The 15th annual Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2021-22 (part 1) survey was released in Bengaluru recently.

The survey rates and ranks the country’s Top 3,000 schools in three main and seven sub-categories ( Co-ed,  Day-cum-boarding; Boarding: Co-ed, Girls and Boys; International: All boys and girls schools as well as government day and boarding schools and special needs schools. 

Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Gurugram (Day co-ed category), SAI International School, Bhubaneswar (Day cum boarding) and  J B Petit school for girls ( All Girls) and Champion school, Fort Mumbai ( All Boys) are ranked at first position in their respective categories. The Delhi-based market research and opinion polls company Centre for Forecasting and Research Pvt. Ltd (C fore) has conducted the survey. 

The survey is based on a sample respondent’s database of 11,458 individuals including school principals, teachers, educationists, fees-paying parents in socio-economic category (SEC) and students in 28 major cities and education hubs across India. 

“These annual surveys are pragmatic and their great merit is that we have ideated over a dozen benchmarks for holistic school education, and generated huge nationwide awareness of the vital importance of well-rounded, balanced education,” said the chief executive of C Fore, Premchand Palety.
