The Shri Venkateshwara University, Meerut was awarded the Best University in Innovation Excellence Award 2023 as part of the Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Samman 2023 at an education conclave held in Greater Noida. The award was presented by UP Higher Education minister Yogendra Upadhyay to the group head Sudhir Giri’s official representative and university pro-chancellor Rajeev Tyagi.
Upadhyay said that the university had set new standards in higher education, health, technical and medical education especially in rural areas. Expressing his views, Giri said that India is transforming into a developed nation through Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives like Digital India and Make in India.
The pro-chancellor said that the institution will work towards achieving the aim of taking Venkateshwara to among the top 10 institutions in the nation by 2030 on the basis of high quality education, innovation and research.
