Siddharth Sah appointed additional judge of U’khand HC

The advocate from Nainital, Siddharth Sah has been appointed additional judge of the Uttarakhand High Court. The notification appointing him as a High Court judge has been issued following the President’s approval.

The Union Ministry of Law and Justice had on Monday appointed Sah as an Additional Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court. According to a notification issued by the President, the appointment has been made in exercise of the powers conferred under clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India. He was serving as an advocate in Uttarakhand High Court prior to his new appointment. Information regarding his appointment has been officially sent to the secretariats of the Uttarakhand Governor, Chief Minister and Chief Justice of the High Court.

Born on September 4, 1971, Sah completed his high school education at St Joseph’s College and his intermediate education at Birla Vidya Mandir. He graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi, and earned his law degree from Almora. His father, M L Sah is also a lawyer.
