The chairman of the National Safety Council, Uttarakhand and deputy factory director, Uttarakhand, Arvind Nagayan provided a variety of safety-related information while addressing on Friday the closing ceremony of the 55th National Safety Week held under the aegis of SIIDCUL Entrepreneur Welfare Society in Pantnagar and in collaboration with Green Panel Industries.
The National Safety Council, Uttarakhand, also organised a workshop on the occasion. The vice- president of the National Safety Council, Uttarakhand, R K Sharma also gave a presentation on safety while the treasurer of the National Safety Council, NC Sanwal was present. Hindustan Zinc also provided information on safety through a street play.
The programme was chaired by the vice-president of Green Panel Industries, Ashok Kumar Singh while the president of SIIDCUL, Shrikar Sinha presided over the closing programme.
Representatives from approximately 90 industries participated in the workshop.
