Senior Congress leader Amarjeet Singh has said that the Punjabi society and Sikh community has lost faith in the BJP. He said that the boycott of a BJP programme organised at a hotel in Dehradun on Monday by the Sikh and Punjabi community shows that the BJP should not take them for granted.
He said that the BJP has always tried to instil fear among the Sikhs by sensitive terms such as Sikh riots of 1984. Singh claimed that only 20 Sikhs were present in the BJP programme held in Dehradun on Monday which shows the mood of the community in Dehradun and Uttarakhand.
